  NextGen Healthcare Information  Systems Inc., a subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:QSII), today  announced that one of its customers, Southeast Texas Medical Associates LLP (SETMA), was named "Microsoft Clinic of the  Year" by Microsoft and Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG). 
   
  Since 1998, SETMA has used the  NextGen EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and NextGen EPM (Enterprise Practice  Management) applications, utilizing the Microsoft platform, to computerize and  advance patient care and service--both inside and outside the exam room. As a  result, the medical practice has enhanced its ability to deliver the highest  quality care while simultaneously improving overall operational efficiencies. 
   
  The Microsoft Clinic of the Year  Award is one category of Microsoft's annual "User of the Year" awards  program, which recognizes the most innovative healthcare organizations that are  improving their operations through the effective deployment and utilization of  Microsoft(R)-based solutions. Winners were chosen by an independent panel of  judges and were announced at the Microsoft booth at the Healthcare Information  and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in San Diego on Tuesday, Feb.  11th.
